After 12 years of treating the RC as a "paper railroad", we finally have a layout!
We recently purchased a small, mostly-completed layout to put in our downstairs living room. The layout was designed, built by, (and successfully moved from the basement of) Alan Canales. Alan's work is impressive - the layout is highly detailed, fully lit, and scenicked.
While it isn't exactly the end-to-end RC layout we had envisioned, it is the best we can do given the circumstances. We decided to place the layout next to a window with great natural lighting, meaning there are plenty of great photography opportunities.
